Chain Link J. Crew USA Pave Crystals Vintage Necklace

A company originally started in USA in 1947 grew to become one of the largest retail companies in the US offering a full range of clothing items and accessories. Their production of regular catalogues which people could buy from brought a boom period during the 1980's as they became one of the catalogue retail giants. It was in 1983 they became known as J. Crew. and had themselves over 500 retail outlets.  Costume jewellery was a small part of their retail market. They are still in business today albeit much scaled down after financial difficulties around 2020.    This is a smart choker style necklace with J Crew signature to the brass tone fold over clasp. Unsure of its dating but the style would indicate a 1980's-1990's era.

This choker style necklace has resin chain links in navy blue each joined to the other with a section of pave set crystals.  Light and easy to wear, the chain link sections measure 2cms x 1.5cms and length of the necklace end to end is 46cms so sits choker style at the neck.
