1940's Pot Metal Enamelled Floral Brooch
$110.00 AUD
Pot Metal was used extensively in the production of costume jewellery during the 1930's and in to the 1940's. It was a way to use left over metals which were combined and cast in to shapes. This is a really pretty example set with six blue sapphire glass rhinestones each one prong set with enamelled flowers and leaves. A large colourless rhinestone holds the bunch together. It is in very good condition with no wear to the enamelling. It has obviously been well looked after. It measures 8cms in length and 3cms across at the widest point. There is a firm roll over safety clasp. Such a sweet nostalgic accessory, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
