1940's Hand Made Wooden Brooch

During the 1940's materials for costume jewellery was scarce and this brought about much imagination to utilize the materials to hand. This interesting brooch has been put together with small pieces of carved wood embellished with tiny plastic floral pieces. Overall size is 5cms x 3.5cms. It is in good condition considering it is now almost 80 years old. A recent acquisition from the UK. A little wear to the back but nothing that detracts from this lovely nostalgic piece.
