French Depose Carved Celluloid Vintage Brooch

A gorgeous and perfect example of the beautiful carved celluloid brooches produced in France during the 1920's-1940's period. Many of them have the "Depose France" signature to the back however unsigned versions as this is, were common during the Art Deco boom as the celluloid panels were also sold in bulk by French workshops to different jewellery retailors across Europe and North America, ready to be mounted in to brass or base metal borders.
