1940's Grape Cluster Moonstone & Metal Dress Clips
Dress Clips became popular during the 1920's and this continued in to the 1950's when the singular brooch took over in popularity. These perfectly formed clips are so versatile. They can be worn with one, singularly, as a brooch, on the neckline of a dress one either side, or on the lapel of a jacket, one, or one either side. Alternatively, dress up some plain shoes and wear them as shoe clips, or one as a feature in your hair up do. Many of the major jewellery companies of the 1920's, 30's and 40's produced dress clips and fur clips including some major companies like Miriam Haskell, Trifari, Van Cleef and Arpels to name a few. These could be from a high profile jewellery manufacturer, but are unsigned. This very deco looking pair are in excellent condition with no obvious wear at all. Each one is substantial in size at 5.5cms x 5cms. The engraved clips are firm. For the lover of true vintage, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
