Mid Century Plastic Bird of Paradise Vintage Brooch

A look back to the 50's - plastic jewellery became very popular at that time, light and easy to wear. This is a nostalgic example complete with his ruby red breast, clear rhinestone adornments and emerald green eye. There is some wear to his plumage given his 70 years of age, but his faded beauty is highly collectable today. Overall dimension is 6.5cms x 4.5cms.  with a firm C shaped clasp to the pin back.
