Little Nemo USA Flamingo Vintage Brooch 1940's

Produced by Brier Manufacturing Co. later known as Little Nemo Manufacturing Company inspired by the Little Nemo Comic Strip of the day. A gorgeous flamingo scene complete with palm trees and sun. This is a company with a strong reputation for quality and detailed design. They grew to become the second largest costume jewellery producer after Coro.  These days their lovely old vintage designs are highly sought after. Measurement across is 5cms.  Condition is good especially for its now 80 plus years. There is a little wear to the cold paint enamelling and all rhinestones are complete.
