Bird of Paradise Vintage Brooch

Although unsigned this vintage gold tone metal bird brooch has all the characteristics of the American Costume Jewellery company BSK.  A recent acquisition from USA there are textured feather details and turquoise coloured stone accents on the head with another small turquoise stone at his waist. He is a stylish bird often referred to as a dove, or bird of paradise. It was a style commonly produced during the 1950's and 1960's but he is in such good condition that I suspect he is a more recent bird.
