Porphyry Glass Filigree Brooch, West Germany

An antique look to this lovely vintage brooch.  Porphyry glass was used in a wide range of jewellery pieces during the 1960's and this one remains in very good condition with a pristine filigree back , secure safety clasp, as well as an additional small safety chain. They were made in West Germany. The oval faceted cabochon measures almost 5cms across and is framed with small faux pearls and brass tone filigree metal.  A classy accessory, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
