Sarah Coventry Vintage Brooch

A circular brooch made of silver tone metal with a central black enamel or faux onyx stone featuring a star burst design. It is a vintage piece, often dated to the 1960's or 1970's. The back of the brooch is typically signed "Sarah Cov"  Made in Canada.  Sarah Coventry jewellery was originally an American Jewellery Company founded in 1949 by Charles Stuart and named after his granddaughter. It became known for affordable stylish designs and it became one of the most popular jewellery brands during the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970's. The company went into bankruptcy in 1981. Today the range is highly collectable. Measurement across is 4cms. Condition is perfect with a firm working roll over safety clasp to the back. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
