Pansy Vintage Birthday Brooch for May by Exquisite 1960

During the 1960's the jewellery production company Exquisite of Solihull, UK brought a lovely range of birthday brooches (one for each month) to the market and they are highly collectable today. This is pansy brooch for May. Hand painted with cold enamel the pansies are vibrant and bright in yellow, purple, and dark blue surrounded by green leaves and the typical Exquisite bow. Overall dimension is 6.5cms x 4cms, set in gold tone metal with the Exquisite signature to the back.  Condition is very good with a little wear to the enamel which does not take away from the charm of this authentic 60's vintage piece.
