HAR Vintage Smiling Asian Man Brooch 1960's

He is fabulous and very special. A collectors dream piece. The vintage smiling Asian Man brooch is part of the Asian look range that the HAR jewellery company of New York brought out in May 1960. The Company was founded by husband and wife team Joseph Heilbrenner and Edith Levitt, and the name HAR was a combination of the names of their two children Hans and Margo. It is an antiqued gold plated brooch with the HAR name stamped to the back along with a firm roll over safety clasp. He has a cream lucite face with faux jade embellishments and tiny aurora borealis rhinestones that catch the light. He measures 6cms x 4cms.
