Celluloid Scottie Dog, Mid Century, Japan

Cute and colourful vintage molded and hand painted celluloid scottie dog in shades of pink with blue sweater and red polka dot bow. Stamped Japan to the back. He is in excellent condition, and measures 6.5cms x 4 cms. A firm C shaped silver tone pin to the back. These pieces were manufactured during two distinct periods, pre WW11 (1930's) and the post war Allied occupation era (1945-1952)   A recent arrival from an estate sale USA.  Cute nostalgia, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
