René Lalique and Art Nouveau Jewellery

René Lalique who was born in 1860 and died in 1945 was the most wonderful designer of glass art vases, perfume bottles, chandeliers, clocks, car mascots, and most importantly Art Nouveau Jewellery.

During his distinguished career including apprenticeship in his homeland of France, he spent two years studying in England and after that went back to France to produce jewelry for some of the top designers like Cartier and Boucheron. When the 1920's arrived he focused on the production of the art deco style and importantly his wonderful and now highly collectable art glass vases.
