Sweetheart jewellery originated as early as WW1 but peaked during WW11 as romantic tokens given by servicemen to their loved ones grew in popularity. These particular sweetheart bracelets were very popular in USA during WW11 and a number of different jewellery companies made them. They are cherished and highly collectable, often personalized with initials or inscription and on an expansion style bracelet. A gorgeous token of love. This particular sweetheart bracelet recently arrived from USA. It does have an initial inscription although difficult to discern exactly. The central medallion with the inscription measures 2cms across. The expansion bracelet has a width of and a measurement across of 6cms, which expands to over 9cms, so will actually expand to fit a larger wrist if need be.
