Vintage Lucite "Mother" Brooch

One of the early plastics used regularly for costume jewellery was lucite. This substantial sized oval lucite brooch is true vintage - Mother is written and painted in lilac enamel. The filigree surround holds 10 colored stones. Measurement of the brooch is 6cms x 4.5cms. There is a firm roll in pin to the back.  In excellent pre loved condition and gift boxed by Vintage Online.
