Topazio Portugal Vintage Brooch

Founded in 1874 by by Manuel Jose Ferreira Marques in Oporto, Portugal the brand was renamed to Topazio in 1934 by his sons Gabriel and Silvestre honoring their mother's favourite gemstone. For over 150 years they have produced quality products and this beautiful petite brooch is no exception. There is traditional Indo Portugese style openwork filigree crafted in sterling silver, gold plated vermeil. Highly collectable today, and this one is in pristine condition, Not a large brooch measuring 3.5cms across.
