Scarab Egyptian Revival 60's Filigree Bracelet
Scarabs were revered in Ancient Egypt for their protective, luck, re birth qualities and were acknowledged as having significant importance spiritually in Egyptian culture. Jewellery showcasing scarabs became very popular during the 1920's and their popularity continued well in to the 1960's period. This is a lovely typical example set in silver tone filigree metal with 6 panels each centred with a faux turquoise scarab. Width of the bracelet is 4cms and length end to end is 17.5cms finished with a traditional vintage slide in clasp which works well. Condition is very good.
