Miriam Haskell Vintage Bangle

Miriam Haskell, a name synonymous with the perfection of hand made vintage jewellery beginning in the 1920's.  Her designs inspired generations of jewellery designers and influenced jewellery fashion.  It is at the forefront of vintage jewellery collecting, and here we have a bracelet from the late 1940's period featuring her signature Russian gilt finish paired with pierced filigree openwork. The exterior is adorned with a rectangular polished faux coral art glass panel either side, each flanked by small rhinestone rondelles. There is the authentic Miriam Haskell cartouche on the inside and a firm push in clasp functioning properly with a safety chain attached.  Measurement across the opening of the bangle is almost 6cms.  Not for a large wrist. There is some slight wear to the metal commensurate with age, but nothing that detracts from the wearing of such a valuable piece.
