Mid Century Necklace and Earrings by Star Company USA

The STAR signature on the hook of the necklace tells us that this lovely set was produced by the Star Jewellery Company in the United States which operated between the 1940's and through to the 1960's. While detailed records on the company remain scarce, historians and collectors recognise its classic signature and design style. A recent arrival from estate sale USA.  There are pale blue lucite pearl stones and light blue rhinestones set in silver tone metal, with a firm hook clasp with signature. Length end to end of the necklace is 42cms and width across of 1.5cms.   The earrings are screw back mechanism, firm and comfortable. Each earring is a mirror of the necklace lucite pearls surrounded by the small light blue rhinestones., and each earring measures 2.5cms x 2cms.  The set is in good condition, and so so pretty.  It sits high at the necklace, great to wear with a shirt as well as a low bodice....gift boxed by Vintageonline.
