Mid Century 1960's Lisner Thermoset Bracelet
Beginning in the early part of the 20th century in USA the Lisner company originally made costume jewellery pieces for many of the couture designers of the day, including Elsa Schiaparelli. It was the arrival of Duponts new coloured acrylic plastic called Lucite during the 1930's that evolved their wonderful mid century ranges in a whole rainbow of colours. This bracelet is part of their oak leaf range which was produced for only a period of 5 years during the 1960's. There are two rows of white thermoset oak leaves with 7 leaves in each row, set in silver tone metal with a fold over clasp marked LISNER. It is in excellent condition and measures 7cms end to end and 3cms across. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
