Long Carnival Glass Bead Vintage Necklace

It is difficult to show the extreme iridescent shimmer created by these beautiful carnival glass beads. They were produced early last century often in Bohemia or USA.  The signature shimmer is created by applying metallic salts to the glass while it is still hot, followed by a final firing. This is 120cm long necklace which offers the variety of being able to wear it as a triple, or double necklace, and also in 1920's style long with a knot.  Each 10cm bead is faceted to catch the light which reflects in hues of aqua, purple, and red. Each bead is individually hand knotted to the next.  In excellent condition with a firm circular spring clasp.  So versatile, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
