Lisner Thermoset 1950's Necklace
For the 1950's vintage lover thermoset jewellery was a highlight. Thermoset plastic was used by a number of American costume jewellery companies at that time but a leader was the Lisner Jewllery Company originally founded in 1904. The use of plastic for costume jewellery was a game changer with pieces becoming more affordable for the average fashionista and Lisner was at the forefront with a reputation for inexpensive, attractive, and beautifully made pieces. This choker necklace is in perfect condition and has been obviously well looked after. Nine free flowing sections in deep burnt orange set in gold tone with an unusual greek key chain either side.
