Limoges France 1940's Porcelain Floral Brooch

Limoges refers to a geographical area of France where many independent studios as well the well known Limoge Factory have produced beautiful porcelainfor many years.  This is an unsigned piece, so likely from one of the smaller studios in that region. Here we have a round design with vibrant pink background, and transfer printed flowers, set in a rope edge frame. Set in to a brass tone back with a firm authentic trombone clasp. Measurement across is 5cms. From the 1940's-early 1950's period. A recent arrival from France, in good pre loved condition and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
