Limoges Castel Porcelain Brooch

A beautiful vintage Limoges Castel oval porcelain brooch from France, featuring a cobalt blue porcelain centre with gold tone classical "courting couple" proposal scene in 18th century dress. Surrounded with an ornate gold tone filigree wirework frame.  The origin is Limoges France which is a large centre for the beautiful Limoge porcelain.  Likely dated to the 1980's era. It is in perfect condition with a firm gold tone roll over safety clasp to the back along with the Limoges Castel signature. Light reflection in the photograph. Overall dimension is 5cms x 4cms.
