Kramer of New York Marquise Set Mid Century Aurora Borealis Bracelet

This bracelet is a authentic mid century piece manufactured by Kramer of New York active mid 1940's - 1970's.  They were renowned for their high quality craftsmanship and organic designs, producing costume jewellery for the luxury fashion house Christian Dior during the 1950's and 1960's.    Comprising gold tone plating featuring brushed textured and polished metal finishes.  Interspersed are multi faceted marquis cut aurora borealis crystal rhinestones. This distinctive shimmering coating was created by Swarovski in 1955 to give stones an iridescent rainbow like shimmer that shifts with the light.  Width of the bracelet is 1cm and 7cm length to fit most wrists.  The bracelet is in excellent condition with a firm fold over clasp.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
