Hattie Carnegie Vintage Mid Century Brooch

Hattie Carnegie was an iconic American fashion entrepreneur and designer who heavily influenced mid century costume jewellery. The style of this beautiful authentic brooch combining intricate openwork gilt metal filigree, dimensional domed layers, and clusters of faux turquoise seed beads alongside pearls and rhinestones points directly to the 1950's to early 1960's period.  Her signature is shown at the back in an oval cartouche.  It is a beautiful work of art measuring 4cms across. There is a firm roll over safety clasp to the back. It is in very good condition with embellishments intact.  Recently arrived from USA, and ready for a new life.   Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
