Hand Made New York Karin's Garden Brooch

Karin's Garden is a luxury fashion accessories company operating out of New York, based on flowers in all sizes and colours.  The company was started by Karen Mital in 1989 and is in business today. It has become a world renowned fashion accessory brand with the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker, Drew Barrymore and other A listers wearing her accessories. This is an older piece from one of her earlier ranges. A gorgeous large flower head measuring 9cms across. The fabric is a sea of blue beads centred with a large iridescent blue bead, a green velvet leaf and green stem. Condition is very good and although there is not a lot of age to this piece, it has a certain old world charm about it.  There is a firm roll over safety clasp to the back along with the signature of Karin's Garden.  Something different, and beautiful, and oh so stylish.
