Fabrice Paris Designer Vintage Brooch

Jackie Riss, daughter of a record store owner started the Fabrice jewellery line in the 1960's, and their retail store in Rue Bonaparte, Paris remains there today. She was eventually joined in business by her daughter Alexandra.  The company has always been renowned for quality in manufacture and their original fantasy designs using enamels and natural materials, techniques learned by Jackie Riss from French craftsmen.  This lovely example is typical of materials they use with mother of pearl and gold tone metals. A free contemporary design with the Fabrice signature to the back along with a firm roll over clasp.   Difficult to date exactly, from an estate sale in USA.  Fabulous for someone who likes something unique.  In excellent condition, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
