Eisenberg Modernist Artists Series Vintage Pendant 1970's

The American Eisenberg Company had been in business for many years before the company was taken over by Karl Eisenberg in 1969.  He then spear headed a wonderful new range which became known as their Artists series, quite a change from their previous designs. It was a reflection of changing times and love for the "mid century" designs. The designs on the enamelled pieces were designed by the leading artists of the period, including George Braque, Alexander Calder, Marc Chagall, Joan Miro and Pablo Picasso. None of them attributed on the pieces.   This is a fabulous example in almost new condition, an enamelled pendant with abstract design. It has a concave shape on gold tone metal with the Eisenberg signature to the back. Also included is the original gold tone snake chain, in excellent condition with a firm ring clasp. Length of the chain is 50cm to fit all necks, and size of the pendant itself is 5cms x 4.5cms.  A very special mid century piece, hard to find, and highly collectable.
