Early Mid Century Crystal Bead Book Chain Necklace

A gorgeous early mid century statement necklace, dating to between 1940'-1950's featuring c;lear faceted crystal beads o9f varying sizes accented with pastel spacer beads. The necklace is built on a brass patterned book chain and secured with a box clasp.  While often associated with vintage designers like Miriam Haskell, this is an unsigned piece in good condition with a little wear to the book chain which is appropriate to its age and gives it an antiqued effect.  It is designed to sit gracefully on the collarbone with a length of 40cms end to end.  The fringe or waterfall element consists of cascading dangling chains that add movement and shimmer.
