Donald Simpson Aurora Borealis Crystal & Rhinestone Mid Century Brooch

The beautiful brooches produced under designer Donald Simpson during the middle of the last century in Australia are now highly collectable. The gold tone metal and sparkling stones create lots of light reflecting colours of the rainbow from the aurora coating. There is the signature S to the back which was one of the signatures used at that time. The usual quality of workmanship is evident and the brooch is in excellent condition.
