Crown Trifari Vintage Pearl Earrings

A lovely pair of vintage clip on earrings with Crown Trifari mark.  After World War 11 there was a world wide trend for costume jewellery to be very popular as an alternative to "real" jewellery. So instead of using gold, Trifari came up with a product they called Trifanium - an alloy created which was very resistant to tarnish, and smooth and durable enough to double as a precious metal. The Crown Trifari mark shown on these earrings was used between 1955 and 1969. So it is easy to date.  We have here gold tone earrings each set with 7 faux pearls and 4 tiny rhinestones. . There is a firm and comfortable clip mechanism to the back. In very good pre loved condition.  True mid century, in very good condition, and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
