Cherub with Baseball Bat Love Token Brooch

How cute is he ? A cherub much in the style of antique brooches a century ago. He is made of bronze tone metal, with his baseball cap to the side, his baseball bat aloft and from that a heart and ball each on separate chain.  Overall dimension is 6.5cms x 3cms.  Recently arrived from an estate sale USA, with no known provenance. Similar cherub themed jewellery are often categorized as Renaissance Revival or Art Deco style.  With his more modern baseball theme he is a unique variation on that theme.  There is a hollow back along with a firm roll over safety clasp. In good pre loved condition....could be 1960's - 1970's period.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
