Carved Celluloid 1940's Vintage Brooch
$50.00 AUD
The low cost and availability of plastics in the 1920's allowed designers to create whimsical jewellery in varying colours. Coral had been very popular for jewellery during the previous years and the celluloid was easily made to emulate the original coral pieces. During the 1940's the faux coral brooches became very popular. This is a lovely example, still in very good condition Overall dimension is 5cms x 3cms with a firm C shaped clasp to the back. True vintage in a beautiful colour. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
