Barcs Australia Vintage Gold tone Necklace

Barcs Australia is the longest standing jewellery brand in Australia and was founded in Sydney in 1948. Still in business today, it continues to be 100% Australian owned. It is difficult to pinpoint the date of production of this smart gold tone necklace exactly but this style was produced during the 1970's - 1980's period. It is from an estate sale with no provenance but has obviously not been worn. It still has the hang tag attached along with the Barcs signature to the back and the number F419.  The chain is in perfect as new condition and sits so beautifully snake like on the neck. Length end to end is 41cms finished with a firm fold over clasp. Width of the necklace is a little over 1cm. Links of the chain are a combination of textured and plain. perfect accessory for any outfit.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
