1980's R Mandle USA Vintage Brooch

The R. Mandle Company was founded in 1956 although there had been a costume jewellery company run by Robert Mandle's Father for some years prior to that. Much of his production was exported overseas and so his designs were for the most part directed at that market. He retired in the 1990's. His signature is to the rear of this Mandle brooch which has a round black disc and Asian motif centre. There are three drops embellished with faux coral and Asian motifs. Overall dimension is 5cms across and 3.5cms drops. A quality piece.  There is a gold tone filigreed back with a firm roll over safety clasp. In excellent condition, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
