Hand painted Roses Enamelled Vintage Earrings

European in their look, with black enamelling and hand painted roses. The earrings have a screw back which was popular during the first 50 years of the last century after being first patented in 1893. It is a comfortable way to wear earrings particularly if you are sensitive to other metals. The trick is to screw as tightly as possible first, and then back off a little. I would think they are 1940's. Overall dimension is 4cms drop from the button top and 2.5cms across at the widest point. In very good pre loved condition, gift boxed by Vintageonline.
