Silver Filigree Mid Century Butterfly Brooch

These filigree worked continental silver brooches were produced during the early to mid 20th Century often made in Italy and Malta, and also appeared from places like Siam in Thailand.  Usually the grade is 800 and there is a mark to the back of the brooch, but not clear enough to interpret exactly. They are delicate vintage pieces in hand worked silver and the butterfly shape is popular as it is often looked upon as a sign of hope or re birth. This sweet piece is in good condition, measuring 4cms x 3cms. Perfect for a lapel, or at the collar of a shirt. There is a firm C shaped clasp to the back. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
