Czech Vintage 30's Filigree Brooch

Another beautiful example of Czechoslovakian craftmanship from pre WW11 when Bohemia later Czechoslovakia was the centre of the universe in the production of quality costume jewellery using high standard glass crystals and filigree metal. This is a lovely example with a large rectangular deep sapphire blue stone enhanced with an eye shaped brass tone filigree frame enhanced with coloured glass stones. Overall dimension is 5.5cms x 3.5cms. The pin is a firm roll over safety clasp which is likely  a replacement of the C shaped clasp of the time. In very good condition, gift boxed by Vintageonline
