Yossi Steinberg Vintage Elephant Brooch

Israeli born Yossi Steinberg was an artist who worked in Tel Aviv until his death in 2010.  He produced quirky jewellery using multicolour resin, Austrian crystals, freshwater pearls and silver plated or gilded wire and this sweet elephant brooch from the 1980's-1990's period has all his hallmarks including the Yossi signature to the back. Overall dimension is 4.5cms x 3.5cms.  There is a firm silver tone safety clasp to the back. The silver tone metal frame shows some wear to the back, (see photo) and does not detract from the front.
