Goldcrest 1960's Pendant Brooch

Heraldic design in this brooch from the Australian mid century company Goldcrest. Little is known about this company and other companies with similar names abound, which makes it difficult to research.  It is in as new condition with the signature Germany to the push in clasp, which is intriguing. Did Goldcrest import their chains from Germany - was it all imported from Germany and the Goldcrest signature added here ?  Nevertheless a lovely 1960's item. The brooch has a pendant bale to give it dual ware and there are symbols in the pedant with the eagle on top of the heraldic shield. All in shiny silver tone metal. The pendant brooch measures 4.5cms x 5cms. The chain measures 60cms end to end, long enough to pop over the head without opening the push in clasp.
