Birthday Brooch For November Chrysanthemum Exquisite UK 1960's

Exquisite Birthday brooches were a popular line from the Exquisite Jewellery Company, produced in Solihull UK during the 1960's. They produced a different flower for each month, and this gorgeous example is their design for November. Beautifully hand crafted with cold enamelling these are highly collectable. The Exquisite brand itself was a trademark of W.A.P Watson (founded in 1914) and they were in business until the 1970's. Made from strong gold tone metal with a firm roll over safety clasp and Exquisite signature to the back, the brooch measures 6.5cms x 5cms. It is in very good condition with no wear to the enamelling obvious at all. It has been well looked after during its 60 plus years of age. I have seen the Chrysanthemum brooch also painted in a purple colourway. A nostalgic delight wearable all year round. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
