Attwood & Sawyer Vintage 1980's Beef Eater Brooch Pin UK

Attwood & Sawyer Company started with sites in Porthcawl and Croerserw in Wales in 1956. They gained a reputation for high quality costume jewellery that went on to be used in many high profile film and television productions. Their costume jewellery was sold throughout the UK and Europe in all major department stores.  The Company closed in the late 1990's and was resurrected by Buckley & Co some years later who obtained their moulds. The Beefeater pin was produced in the 1980's however its unclear whether this was from that time, or a later re issue.

This is a smaller brooch at 4cms x 1.5cms. It is in perfect condition with gold plate on base metal embellished with red and black enamel. Very cute reflecting a little piece of British history. There is a firm roll over clasp. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
