Birthday Brooch for February by Exquisite Jewellery UK 1960'S

The Exquisite Jewellery Company of Solihull, UK produced a lovely range of birthday brooches during the 1960's with a different flower depicting each month of the year. Here we have primroses which they brought out for February.  Produced in gilt metal, and cold enamelled in pale yellow flowers and green leaves. Overall dimension is 6.5cms x 4cms.  They were produced in two sizes, one larger than the other, and this is the larger size.  It has a very vintage mid century look, nostalgic, and in good pre loved condition, with little wear commensurate with age.  A firm roll over safety clasp to the back along with the Exquisite signature.    Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
