Nielloware Thai Silver Vintage Brooch

Nielloware has been around for centuries and is produced in Thailand. During the middle of the last century it became very popular as tourist gifts, and is still popular today. Often depicting different gods and goddess, this particular goddess is the Goddess of Lightening and is engraved on to a deep green background which is a little more unusual. Set in silver, with sterling mark to the back along with a firm roll over safety clasp. Dimension is 5cms x 3.5cms. In very good condition and gift boxed by Vintageonline.
