K & T Designer Vintage Sewing Tools Brooch

Marked K & T to the back is the hallmark of a great collection of whimsical pieces known for their distinctive tri tone or mixed metal designs, typically featuring a combination of copper, brass, gold tone and silver tone finishes.....as shown here.  The company produced this line entitled 'pins with personality" around 1997. They were located in Providence, Rhode Island, USA. Here we have a combination of an old fashioned sewing machine, button, safety pin, thimble, cotton reel, scissors,, pin cushion.   The back has a black lacquered japanned finish along with the "K & T" signature. It is quite a large brooch measuring 7cms x 4cms.  It is in perfect condition, with a firm roll over safety clasp to the back.  A whimsical novelty brooch and a great gift for any hand craft or sewing lover.
