Jewel Crest by Donald Simpson Mid Century Brooch & Earrings

A wonderful find from the prominent Australian Costume Jewellery brand created by designer Donald Simpson operating between 1950's and early 1970's.  Highly sought after for the quality and design and use of beautiful Austrian Crystals.  The brooch, set in gold tone metal is signed JEWEL CREST, along with a firm roll over safety clasp.The earrings are as usual in a set, unsigned. The earrings are typically screw back.  Condition of both the brooch and earrings is immaculate and shows no sign of wear at all. The brooch measures 8cms x 7.5cms.  The matching earrings measure 3cms x 2cms.  A truly beautiful brooch and earrings, to wear as a set, or separately.  Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
