Art Deco Bar Brooch

A sentimental bar brooch from the 1930's period.  Perhaps a gift to his sweetheart. The metal frame is accentuated with small enamelled forget me nots and green leaves.  Sweetheart gifts were very popular gifts during the Second World War, and it does evoke that mysterious feeling.  Overall dimension is 1cm width and 4cms long. Centred with a fully faceted pretty pink stone. There is a firm typical C shaped clasp to the back.  A gorgeous sweet gift for yourself or someone you love.
