WEISS USA Vintage 1960's Rhinestone Earrings

The Weiss Jewellery Company was founded in 1942 in New York, after Albert Weiss had worked for some time for the American Costume Jewellery Company Coro. They were one of the first companies to use Swarovski's aurora borealis finish on their rhinestones in the 1950's and established their reputation for quality well designed costume jewellery. The company closed in 1972.   This is a gorgeous pair of earrings using a combination of round and tear drop shaped rhinestones each one faceted and prong set in a fruit salad of colours.Their is a clip on mechanism to the back in gold tone metal, both firm and comfortable. Weiss signature to the clip.  Measurement of each one is 3cm x 2cm, in lovely condition and very sparkly. Gift boxed by Vintageonline.
